Ingredients

Scale
  • Turkey bones
  • Celery
  • Onions
  • Carrots
  • 1/2 tsp Salt and Peppercorns
  • thyme
  • bay leaf
  • 1 pinch marjoram
  • rosemary

Instructions

  1. Put all bones in pot. Cover with water.
  2. Add 1 stalk celery, 1 onion & 1 carrot, chopped. Add salt & peppercorns, thyme, bay leaf, marjoram, & rosemary.
  3. Cover, simmer 1 1/2-2 hours
  4. Remove bones.
  5. Strain all but broth. Scrape bones to keep meat.
  6. Refrigerate overnight.
  7. Take fat off the top.
  8. Add back in fresh carrots, potatoes, onion, celery, peas, beans, rice, noodles, wild rice, etc.
  9. Simmer until veggies are tender.
